Nanesa's Graphene

What is graphene?
What are graphene nanoplatelets (GNPs)?

As a book is made up of pages, graphite is made up of layers of graphene. GNPs are the perfect balance: nanoplatelets ready for real-world applications.

Graphene is a two-dimensional material composed of a single layer of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal honeycomb structure. This material is well-known for its exceptional properties, including high electrical and thermal conductivity, mechanical strength superior to steel, lightness and flexibility. Thanks to these characteristics, graphene is now considered one of the most promising materials for a wide range of industrial applications.

Graphene nanoplatelets (GNPs) are small multilayer graphene platelets. Each consists of a few overlapping layers with lateral dimensions in the order of microns. Our GNPs can be produced on an industrial scale. They are an effective and versatile solution for improving the mechanical, thermal and electrical properties of composite materials, metal coatings, polymers, paints, conductive inks and much more. Below are our GNPs.

G2Nan | To make your material thermally and electrically conductive

G2Nan is a graphene nanoplatelets-based nanofiller with reduced thickness and balanced specific surface area. This places it in an intermediate position in our portfolio in terms of aspect ratio. This optimal configuration makes it perfect for applications requiring high electrical and thermal conductivity, while offering good dispersion in host systems. It is perfect for:

  • Electrically conductive materials
  • Thermal management
  • High-performance lightweight composites

This product is available in powder or water paste form (5% wt).

G2NanST | Graphene for advanced thermal management

G2NanST takes the performance of G2Nan to the next level, offering an optimised solution for even more efficient thermal management. Thanks to its optimised morphology and high heat conduction efficiency, G2NanST is designed to maximise the thermal performance of the materials in which it is integrated, while ensuring ease of dispersion and compatibility with different matrices.

Ideal for all applications where thermal management is crucial, in particular for:

  • High-efficiency heat transfer fluids
  • Dissipative paints and coatings for heat management
  • Polymer composites to improve heat dissipation

Available in: powder | water paste (5% wt)

G3Nan | High-purity graphene nanoplatelets

G3Nan is the nanoplatelet with the highest degree of purity in the NANESA portfolio. It is the ideal choice for contamination-sensitive processes and applications that require high standards of precision and reliability.

Thanks to its optimal balance between workability and functional performance, G3Nan easily adapts to different matrices and technologies, making it perfect for a wide range of uses, including:

  • Functional coatings
  • Mechanical reinforcement of polymers
  • EMI shielding

Available in: powder | water paste (5% wt)

G4Nan | The graphene nanoplatelet with the widest lateral extension

G4Nan is designed to offer superior lateral dimension, making it the ideal filler for enhancing the mechanical properties of materials with minimal dosage. Thanks to its expanded structure, G4Nan guarantees high reinforcement efficiency and homogeneous distribution within the host matrix.

It is particularly suitable for applications where it is essential to maximise the effect of the filler while reducing the overall material load:

  • Mechanical reinforcement in cementitious and polymeric matrices
  • Corrosion barriers for protective coatings
  • Structural additives for advanced composite materials

Available in: powder

G7Nan | Compact graphene nanoplatelets for superior tribological properties

G7Nan is the ideal nanofiller for imparting self-lubricating properties and wear resistance to the final composite. Characterised by a narrow and thick morphology, G7Nan is designed to offer high tribological performance, even under conditions of intense friction and mechanical stress. Thanks to its compact structure, it can be easily integrated both for dispersion in polymer matrices and for co-electrodeposition with metals on metal components.

It is ideal for applications requiring:

  • High wear resistance
  • Optimised tribological behaviour
  • Metal-graphene coating with self-lubricating properties

Available in: powder
